Isle Of Eriska Resort, Spa And Island
A stunning resort set in fantastic environment. The weather was good so we had been in a position to explore the island and had some lovely walks. The staff had been very attentive and looked after us properly. The spa facilities are somewhat run down for a resort of this normal. The employees are wonderful, and so attentive with great service. There are lots of comfortable armchairs with good fireplaces, nice meals, great surroundings and some lovely walks.
We merely ask that they don’t seem to be left unattended. We regret that they are not allowed within the public rooms or areas of the lodge. Questions and answers should be property or room related.
Peace, tranquility and comfort have remained pre-eminent goals, and are certainly the very attributes which draw folks back to the island many times. Eriska House was in-built 1884 by the architect Hippolyte Blanc for a branch of the Stewarts of Appin, and later had a number of house owners. The property, including home, island and 50 acres of the neighbouring mainland was purchased by Robin and Sheena Buchanan-Smith in 1973, and converted to be used as a luxury resort over the next year. Today the lodge and property are still owned and run by the Buchanan-Smith family. The Stables Spa is an oasis of calm, recharge and rejuvenate with a therapy and connect together with your pure environment in the Spa Garden.
